Primary School Places
Applications to mainstream primary academies
If you wish to apply for a place for your child at a mainstream primary or secondary school within Kirklees, applications should be made through Kirklees Council’s School Admissions service. The council’s admissions website provides guidance on the application process and allows parents and carers to apply online.

If you experience any difficulty when applying for a school place through the Kirklees Council admissions system, you can contact the Kirklees School Admissions Team for further support and guidance. Please note that to complete an online application, you will need to create or log in to a My Kirklees account.

Admission appeals for mainstream academies
If your child has not been offered a place at your preferred school, you have the right to appeal the decision. Appeals for our school are managed by John Halshaw who will convene an independent panel; your request must be submitted using the online Admissions Appeal Form via the website below. Further information about the appeals process, including deadlines, can be found on our webpages.
